Introduction
In childhood, the greatest wealth in a farming family was raising pigs to sell for money. Watching the adults count the money, a smile would bloom on the corners of my mouth...
In the countryside, pigs could be eaten twice; once when they were grown and slaughtered, and once when they were castrated a week after birth, so the meat would be delicious and free of any strong flavor. The first way of eating them was fresh testicles stir-fried with sesame oil, basil, and old ginger, both tasty and nutritious.
That night, my dreams were filled with images of chasing after piglets, who all ran as quickly as basketball superstar Michael Jordan dribbling to the basket, fast enough to make it feel like my tongue was sticking out...
