The artist was once involved in the pigeon racing industry in his early years, and through years of observing pigeon culture, he deeply sensed that every racing pigeon owner harbors a common dream — to believe that the pigeons they raise can one day become champions. This inner belief, self-confidence, and the joy of waiting for dreams to materialize became significant inspirations for this work.

The character in the painting is based on the artist's brother, a man who has dedicated his life to pigeon racing. Through his brother's expression immersed in dreams, the artist captures the purest and happiest moments of people chasing their ideals.

The white pigeon perched atop the head symbolizes not only peace but also dreams, hope, and belief. This work depicts not just the culture of racing pigeons but also the power of "believing in oneself" that resides in the hearts of everyone who harbors ideals.
