Introduction
Description of the artwork "Unconventional Thoughts"
The work is inspired by the moment when light and shadow fall, transforming the complex overlapping petals into human thoughts and consciousness. Each flower and each petal represents the constantly generating thoughts within the mind, forming distinct perceptions and consciousness as they collide, intertwine, and flow with one another.
In the picture, the bar-shaped white spaces penetrating the flower cluster symbolize light pouring in from the outside, entering the heart and traversing through the tangled thoughts, while also leaving spaces of "emptiness." The coexistence of density and blankness, fluctuation and tranquility, allows the painting to maintain a quiet and clear space amidst what appears to be chaotic consciousness.
"Unconventional Thoughts" seeks to express that thoughts can be complex and myriad, yet when light penetrates through, the heart can find a moment of silence amidst the flowing consciousness.
