In December 2016, I visited the "Taipei Biennial of Contemporary Art" at National Taiwan University of Arts. At that time, sunlight surrounded the environment of the old teachers' quarters, making it a stage for the old walls and plants to perform together. Light streamed through the windows, where the wall sculptures of the contemporary art biennial "Go Together" met the shadows cast by the leaves—an encounter between the window and the wall. This two-dimensional space, coinciding with the shadows of the leaves, achieved a three-dimensional visual layer, serving as a spokesperson for the existence of plants.
