The imagination of flowers, auspicious symbols, and days in folk culture is transformed into a simple yet vivid vocabulary of prints. The dan-shen flower in the painting blooms passionately in clusters, with the red flowers and green leaves not meticulously carved but instead outlined by vigorous knife marks that evoke a sense of abundant life; "When dan-shen blooms, wealth comes naturally" carries the straightforwardness and humor unique to folk traditions, expressing the hope for good days in a simple and relaxed manner.

Here, "wealth" does not necessarily refer to material richness, but rather reflects the simple view of happiness held by the older generation of Taiwanese: ** when the land yields harvest, flowers bloom, and family is safe, life is naturally blessed.

The work preserves Hakka wisdom, memories of the land, and folk auspicious phrases within its carving marks; this unembellished "earthiness" embodies a sense of contentment, optimism, and resilience that is the spirit of Taiwan.
