The artwork is themed around the longan tree, heavy with fruit in the peak of summer, and captures the fleeting changes of light and shadow found in nature, beginning with the interplay of light filtering through the branches and leaves. The layers of overlapping leaves are represented using burnished silver foil, which produces a mottled and rich coloration after firing. Under different lighting, it reveals variations in depth, warmth, and brightness, mirroring the way sunlight dances among the foliage.

The abundant fruits symbolize the harvest reaped from the accumulation of life, while the scattered light that filters through the dense branches and leaves seems to slow down the originally bustling and hot summer moment. Within the movement of light and shadow, the heat transforms into a hint of coolness, and the noise gradually quiets down.

"Season of Abundance" portrays not just the richness of the season but seeks to capture a brief and tranquil moment — when the light falls, where the flourishing of nature meets the serenity of the soul, converging in that instant.
