I rely on shapes and fragments of color to create bonds of love. My paintings flow with the movement of metals—I’ve used silver, tin, gold, titanium—all within the traditional Vietnamese lacquer medium. I embrace a bold, expressive style, capturing the simplicity of still-life scenes: daisy chrysanthemums like clouds or clusters of heavenly flowers, simple vases, and humble fruits.
