The "Alice Teapot and Cup Set" is a customized teapot and cup work created by Master Lan Yue, aiming to design a living porcelain set filled with European romantic charm while incorporating modern styles. It features an elegant high teapot and teacup set with flowing lines, commissioned from a pottery workshop for production. The long teapot is shaped like a pear, and Master Lan Yue chose the slender shapes of iris flowers and leaves as the theme for the creation. The veins of the leaves, which spread out in all directions, serve to fill in the blank spaces and connect the front and back visuals in a harmonious interplay. Upon closer inspection, one can notice a yellow and purple iris painted at the tip of the spout, which intertwines beautifully. It is already quite challenging to paint on a porcelain form with uniform curvature, but Master Lan Yue has chosen to depict the iris at the junction where the two different curvatures meet. This demonstrates Master Lan Yue's ability to masterfully capture the shapes of the depicted theme, regardless of the location or angle, further highlighting the superb and steady skill of the artist.
