Sam Stocker, a British artist based in Tokyo. He completed his Masters and PHD at Tokyo University of the Arts and currently work as an art lecturer at Yamanashi Gakuin University. Originally from near east London Sam studied at the University of Reading, winning a student painting completion in Holland. He initially worked as a freelance Graphic designer but eventually started working of community art projects. He has over 20 years of experience exhibiting and installing art exhibitions, in galleries and off-site projects in the United Kingdom, the US, Europe and in Japan.
