TEO KIEN LOO, also known as Zhang Qiongru, has loved painting since childhood. After retiring in 1994, she began to create Chinese ink paintings; recently, she also likes to paint watercolor and oil paintings. She often participates in exhibitions organized by domestic painting associations, as well as art exchange exhibitions in China, the United States, Malaysia, Myanmar, South Korea, Cambodia, Japan and other places. Her works are collected by art lovers at home and abroad. 2024: "Happy Journey" 6-person joint exhibition "Heavy Colors--My Journey" first solo exhibition Malaysia-- International Creative Art Alliance's first "Art Co-prosperity" Colorful Colors--55th Watercolor Society Annual Exhibition Zhang Qunru is currently the vice president of the Singapore Women's Art Association; the treasurer of the Singapore Teachers' Art Association and the vice treasurer of the Singapore International Cultural and Art Federation; she is also a permanent member of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Alumni Association, the Chinese Art Research Association, the Singapore Art Association, the Singapore Watercolor Society and the San Francisco Chinese Art Society in California, USA.
