Introduction
The artist Liu Jiekuan wrote: "The withered lotus remains to hear the sound of the rain," which is derived from Li Shangyin's poem "宿駱氏亭寄懷崔雍、崔袞" (Staying at the Luoshi Pavilion, In Memory of Cui Yong and Cui Gun): "In the bamboo grove, there is no dust, and the water railing is clear; longing is distant, separated by heavy walls. The autumn gloom does not dissipate, and the frost flies in the evening; the withered lotus remains to hear the sound of the rain."
