Artist Resume of Yao Ming: Born in February 1967 in Inner Mongolia, China Master of Fine Arts from Fukuoka University of Education, Doctor of Oriental Art from Kyushu Sangyo University Awards: Numerous awards including the Japanese Minister for Foreign Affairs Award, the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Award, and the Embassy of China in Japan Award Collection Locations: Collections at the China Overseas Chinese History Museum, Guilin Art Museum, Handan Museum, Handan Linzhang Buddha Statue Museum, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council of China, Consulate General of China in Dubai, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts Museum, as well as in private collections; including former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama and former Democratic Party leader Banri Kaieda Chinese artist residing in Japan, serving as the chairman of the Japan-China International Exchange Center (NPO), chairman of the Kyushu Overseas Chinese Federation, president of the Japan branch of the Global Art Alliance, president of the Japan branch of the Asian Artists Association, part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of Kyushu Sangyo University, visiting professor at Guangxi Normal University in China, Shandong Linyi University, vice president of the 21st Century Calligraphy and Painting International Exchange Association, and lecturer at Fukuoka Asahi Shimbun.
