Romain Rolland once said: "There is only one true heroism in the world, and that is to love life after seeing the truth of life." Thank you for accompanying Di Zhen in exploring the black hole of the soul. Each person has a point (a black hole) that is difficult to touch. One can ignore its existence, confront it, process it, or let it go! In the artwork, Di Zhen faces the existence of the black hole, focusing on the "black hole," but more so on the "human." Looking back on the journey, through the challenges of wind and rain, sunshine and storm, along the weathered path filled with scars, there is the familial bond of being a child, the friendship of various companions, the love between men and women, and the morals of marriage. It’s a journey of learning and letting go, stumbling and crossing over… Only in the black hole can we see more of each other's brilliance… Only by traversing the black hole can we see the gentle, clear blue sky. Just as one can see countless stars in the absence of light pollution. The true face of life has always been a mix of joy and sorrow, laughter and tears. Di Zhen always hopes to recognize miracles, achieve happiness, and feel contentment in the simple and ordinary affairs of life… This should be what Romain Rolland meant by loving life!
