Tsai, Yean，began learning to paint after retirement, purely for personal enjoyment. Unexpectedly, she encountered excellent teachers and classmates at Wenshan Community University, and started to appreciate and enjoy the process of painting. Having admired many oil paintings in books, exhibitions, and museums, she was deeply fascinated by them. I thought, as a beginner, why not try watercolor, a medium I dabbled in during high school? And so, unexpectedly, I fell in love with watercolor. I want to continue painting. There’s an 'image that could appear on the paper' buried in my heart that I can’t yet express. I’m waiting."
