Tomás Castano, Spanish artist (1953). His work is characterized by a serene and poetic realism, which translates the artist's delight in the expression of traditional streets, buildings and facades. His paintings capture the magic of the aesthetics of the old and transmit all the warmth and humanization of environments not transformed by modern life. He has shown his work in several countries such as the United States, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Mexico, United Kingdom, Ireland, Romania, Sweden, Germany, Holland, France, Portugal, Argentina, Italy and numerous exhibitions in Spain. Between 2015 and 2019, he participated in the ART REVOLUTION TAIPEI competition and was selected as a finalist in the Competition, obtaining the Gallery Award in the last edition. In 2022 and 2023 he was invited to participate in the aforementioned fair with an individual stand.
