The weathered wall
Whispers tales of history.
Fallen fruits cover the ground,
With birds naturally gathering them up.
Scattered corn kernels,
Loved by the turkeys,
Are pecked with delight.
Golden corn,
Shining and bright,
Piles into small golden hills.
An endless harvest of corn,
Filling the days of those seated in chairs.
