"Li Yunlan: My mother was a seamstress, and as a child, I watched her measure and design clothes for clients, often doodling beside her. I once wanted to study art, but had to give up due to family opposition. Perhaps it was fate, as I ended up working in the textile industry for 30 years! In 2020, through a friend's introduction, I joined the Dandelion Art Association and met my mentor, Yao Yuan. Under his guidance, I reignited my interest in drawing and further developed my skills by joining the community college's sketching and oil painting classes. I hope to gain a lot from this art fair."
