Pan-Asian Art Alliance Artist Kayson Chen Born in 1968 in Yunlin, Taiwan, Chen Kai-Sen's creative journey is marked by a lack of self-pity or solitude. Unlike many artists who draw inspiration from adversity, Chen Kai-Sen's background is emblematic of Taiwan's modestly prosperous society in the 40s and 50s—a time of contentment and innocence. Despite not having an affluent lifestyle, Chen Kai-Sen holds multiple roles while remaining steadfast in his pursuit of art. When the admiration of unfamiliar collectors evolves into the encouragement of close friends, Chen Kai-Sen believes that the most sincere response to all his collectors and friends is to continue creating and presenting ever-improving work.
