"Li Xiuzhen: I am a novice who accidentally wandered into the world of art. With no formal background in the arts, I began by participating in art tours organized by the Soka Gakkai. Gradually, I came into contact with oil painting and artists, and started to understand the value of art—not just as paintings themselves but as a form of self-expression and consciousness. The real turning point for me was discovering that oil painting was actually quite close to me during a casual visit to a friend. Why not pick up a brush and give it a try? With encouragement and guidance from my husband, I slowly felt the allure and passion for oil painting, which led me to create my first oil painting!"
