YU SHIH-FU

The inspiration for this creation comes from the delightful experiences of cycling. The artwork consists of three kinetic installations and one sound installation. The first, "Sunny Day," captures the intense sunlight shining through the spokes, creating a radiant display on the pavement that flickers with the rotation of the wheels. The second, "Distant Rider," depicts a fellow cyclist in the distance who cheerfully rings their bell to greet you as they speed away. In an instant, they vanish, leaving behind the lingering sound of the bell echoing in your ears.
