Engaged in gouache painting for over 30 years, the artist studied under their father, Chen Dingyang. They have been selected for provincial exhibitions and the Taiyang Fine Arts Exhibition, and have participated in various joint exhibitions, including those by the Green Water Painting Association, the Gouache Painting Association, and the "Good Ideas from Taiwan" joint exhibitions. The artist's work often draws inspiration from the natural landscape. While the layering of gouache colors can be challenging, it results in rich and profound textures that beautifully capture subtle variations in color. The artist's style leans toward realistic depictions, with a focus on using soft elements to convey a tranquil atmosphere.
