The water of Liwu Creek is crystal clear, revealing the bottom like a sapphire, the deep blue and green stream offers a sense of tranquility and profundity. It seems to carry a thousand years of history, flowing gently and telling countless stories. The day before the 0403 Hualien earthquake, I happened to visit Tienhsiang. That day, I saw extraordinarily beautiful and magical light. In the presence of this sacred light, one cannot help but feel a sense of awe. This awe is not only a reverence for the power of nature but also for life itself.
