He Wengao's "Iris" is a poetically charged mixed media ink creation. In this work, she draws inspiration from nature to highlight the unique beauty and melancholy of the iris flower. Set against a slightly dim background, the iris blooms alone, seemingly proclaiming the resilience and purity of life. The scattered skeletal fragments around it enhance the piece's sense of history and cultural depth, presenting a strong visual contrast. Through her non-academic free brushwork, He Wengao not only expresses her unique perception of the scenery but also reflects her personal insights and innovations in contemporary art.
