Intro
Singapore's highly respected philanthropist Huang Majialan is dedicated to doing good deeds, helping others, and improving society. She actively participates in various charitable activities aimed at promoting the development of social welfare and public causes. Her commitment encompasses various fields, including education, healthcare, community development, and cultural arts. In recent years, she has funded underprivileged students to receive basic education and fulfill life necessities, supported artistic and cultural activities, and promoted social justice and harmony. Her contributions have inspired and driven social progress and development.
Her paintings have been exhibited in both domestic and international art exhibitions, as well as presidential charity exhibitions, showcasing her artistic talent. In terms of calligraphy, she studied under Master Shi Xiangtuo and is known for her exquisite inscriptions and stamping techniques. For ink painting, her initial three-year mentor was the national treasure artist Dr. Chen Wenxi, followed by over a decade of learning ink finger painting from the internationally acclaimed Master Wu Zaiyan. She later studied with Mr. Chen Jianpo, who integrates poetry, calligraphy, painting, and seal carving, and continues to learn calligraphy from Mr. Zhu Tianshou, the former president of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. She not only frequently donates the proceeds from her artwork to charity but also continues to contribute to charitable endeavors.
