Nana Magdalena Gamayo is a renowned Filipino master weaver from the Ilocos region in the Philippines. She is celebrated for her expertise in "inabel," a traditional handwoven fabric unique to Ilocos Norte, made from cotton and adorned with intricate designs and patterns. Nana Magdalena not only continues to weave but also teaches younger generations, ensuring that this centuries-old art form lives on. She remains an inspiration, symbolizing resilience, artistry, and the rich cultural legacy of the Philippines.
