Amila is a self-taught artist from Sri Lanka who has the passion for painting since young. Whether if it’s for his own enjoyment or private commissions, he loves to use his artistic talents for expressing his thoughts creatively using a vibrant combination of colors. With enthusiasm for gemstones, Amila has a great knowledge of them. He applies gemstone-like colors and elements into his artwork, calling it “Crystallism”. His paintings mainly being abstract, using acrylic and oil on canvas, as well as applying meshes to create more texture in his artwork.
