"Zhang Chengkai: I have cerebral palsy and also face challenges with my hearing. I could only take a single step at the age of five, stumbling and struggling with multiple obstacles. Throughout my educational journey, I encountered many difficulties. When I was in junior high, my mother advocated with the principal to allow me to join the art experimental class, primarily to help with hand-eye coordination, which laid the foundation for my later interest and love for painting. By continuously practicing with pencils and watercolor pens, I have been moved to tears by the life I was able to depict in my paintings. Painting brings me joy and tranquility. On my artistic journey, I have met many wonderful teachers, classmates, and friends, enriching my life."
