LIN HUNG-HSIN, born in 1975 in Yunlin, graduated from the Graduate Institute of Fine Arts at the National Taiwan University of Arts. His work primarily focuses on realistic painting, blending vector plane symbols and virtual spatial imagery to reflect his personal experiences and fantasies. Drawing on Walter Benjamin's concept of the "flâneur," his unique characters emerge from the "Wanderer" series in 2011 to the "Disintegrated Man" series in 2016, exploring the relationship between the city and the individual. His artworks have been exhibited in Taipei, Shanghai, London, and Singapore, and are collected by the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. He currently resides and creates in Taiwan.
