Reydel Espinosa Oil on Canvas series It’s a very symbolic artwork, which depicts how a creature, like a species of gazelle, is giving lives. The scene, that a pelican brings another species from the ocean to be fed, represents the magic of nature and how nature prospers. The main creature is giving life through a kind of trunk coming out of its head. Life comes as the cloud and also vanishes as the cloud as it is so short and volatile. The tree branch-looking figure is growing a rose out of it. The rose also gives life, like a star or smoke. The main figure is holding an ankh, which is an Egyptian symbol of life as this painting is all about life in prosperity.
