Introduction
Li Su-jing's "The Winds of Freedom" expresses the inner struggle and yearning for freedom with rich and intense colors. The contrast between the yellows and oranges with deep greens seems to represent a direct dialogue between the self and external pressures, while the white and soft blue lines in between impart a sense of hope and release. The thick blocks of color connect the Eastern concept of empty space with Western abstract expressionism, testament to Li Su-jing's profound insight and representation of the inner world.
