In the not-so-distant future, rapid advancements in human technology will lead to the accumulation of a vast amount of technological products and electronic waste. This electronic waste will gradually encroach upon the environment, posing a significant threat. The speed of processing and breaking down electronic waste is not in sync with humanity's pursuit of progress, creating a mismatch in time. This could eventually result in life having to adapt to or coexist with the vast quantities of synthetic materials that are difficult for ecosystems to digest.
The artwork prompts us to contemplate how future generations will navigate this coexistence and adapt to an environment shaped by these technological artifacts. It raises important questions about our responsibility to manage electronic waste and the impact of our actions on the natural world and the potential emergence of new forms of life as a consequence of human technological evolution.
