**“Light Painted for You and Him”**
This painting was created by an artist nearing fifty, for his wife and their child who has finally entered the world.

They have walked through over a decade of waiting and loss. Missing the opportunity in their youth, they faced numerous trials, examinations, miscarriages, and disappointments as they matured. His wife bravely endured the side effects of treatments, emotional upheavals, and the repeated letdowns of hope, while he always stood by her side, silently holding her hand.

One day, the doctor said, “This time, the heartbeat is stable; you can relax a bit.” Upon hearing those words, he silently shed tears in the consultation room.

That night, he returned to his studio and hardly slept, creating this artwork. By then, she was three months pregnant.

The space in the painting, gently enveloping like a womb, surrounds a circle of light, representing his deepest blessing for the child finally welcomed by the world. With layers of soft strokes, akin to breathing, he paved a warm and steadfast path for the unborn baby, while also leaving a witness to his wife's resilience and courage.

He stated, “This is not a creation; it is my life’s deepest prayer.”

Now, his child has been born healthy, and this painting has become a beacon of light for all families who have tirelessly awaited life, enduring tears and fears.

His wife looked at the painting and said, “This is the piece he’s created that most wishes our child could see.”

This is a story about love, about faith, and also about miracles. At fifty, he has finally created a work that grows alongside him, outside the canvas—his child.
